Dr. Shawn Clark is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and is a 1998 graduate of The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Clark has practiced as both a general practitioner and a emergency and critical care veterinarian in North Carolina, Washington State , and most recently Bozeman, Montana.
From a young age, Dr. Clark has always had a strong natural affection for all types of animals, be it dogs, horses, or even smaller furry creatures that have been part of his family over the years! He appreciates the human-animal bond and feels strongly in fostering this with each and every patient he sees. It is his goal to make every patient’s veterinary visit as stress free and happy as possible. Dr. Clark has a strong interest in both emergency medicine as well as soft tissue surgery and is always very committed to providing the highest quality of care for his patients.
When not working, Dr. Clark loves being outside, cross country and backcountry skiing, hiking, trail running, and mountain biking. His highest priority is always any activity that can be joyfully shared with his two dogs! Dr. Clark, his wife and daughter have a plump and healthy guinea pig, a very affectionate Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, and a super energetic and enthusiastic Border Collie.
