Marianne originally started at Riverview in 2011, and then re-joined the team in 2014 after a brief hiatus to send her only daughter off to college. Marianne has been a credentialed Veterinary Technician since 1987, earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications in 1993 and a Master’s Degree in Business in 1996. In 2009, she became certified in Canine Rehabilitation through the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine, which allows us to offer physical rehabilitation services at our hospital. In addition, she is Nationally Certified in Canine Massage and Acupressure and has a special interest in home health and hospice care for animals. In March 2020, Marianne became hospital manager -bringing all of her education and experience together. She is an avid hiker, biker, scuba diver and also loves horseback riding. She shares a small ranch in Durango with her 4 horses and 3 dogs.
