Maddie was born and raised in Arizona before moving to Durango in 2018. She grew up caring for animals of many species, from Arizona reptiles to horses, and once even fostered a baby deer. It should have occurred to her sooner that a career in Veterinary Medicine would be her passion, but she eventually realized this in 2020 (better late than never). She is currently working toward becoming a RVT. She lives in a tiny cabin with her fiance and her two dogs.
