Kiandra moved back to the Durango area, where she was raised, in the summer of 2023. She has always felt a strong connection with animals, which sparked her ambition to work in the veterinary field. She attended the University of New Mexico, where she received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Kiandra got started in veterinary medicine at a clinic in Albuquerque, NM in 2020. She plans to further her education in pursuit of her dream – feel free to ask her about it! Outside of veterinary medicine, Kiandra enjoys hiking, art, camping, ATVing, and spending time with family and animals.
