Dr. Emmy Finley is a certified veterinary rehabilitation therapist and certified veterinary acupuncture therapist. She lived in Durango and attended Fort Lewis College prior to attending veterinary school at Colorado State University. After graduating magna cum laude, she completed a rotating internship at Oregon State University. Since then, she worked as an emergency/critical care veterinarian at large multi-specialty practices on the West Coast. Now, she is excited to be back in Durango and to help improve the quality of life of pets in the Four Corners area. While she loves all aspects of rehabilitation, her special passion is helping senior dogs become more functional and pain-free, allowing them to get some “sparkle” back in their lives. Prior to her career in veterinary medicine, Dr. Emmy was an Outward Bound instructor. These days, she lives in Durango with her husband and two large dogs, and enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling, and gardening.
