Dr. Emmy Finley is a certified veterinary rehabilitation therapist and certified veterinary acupuncture therapist. She lived in Durango and went to Ft. Lewis College prior to attending veterinary school at CSU. After graduating magna cum laude, she completed a rotating internship at Oregon State University. Since then she has worked as an emergency and critical care veterinarian at large multi-specialty practices on the West Coast. She is excited to be able to move back to Durango and help improve the quality of life of pets in the four corners. While she loves all aspects of rehabilitation, her special passion is helping senior dogs become more functional and pain free, allowing them to get some sparkle back in their lives. Prior to her career in veterinary medicine Dr Emmy was an outward bound instructor. She lives in Durango with her husband and two large dogs. She loves all the outdoor activities in Durango, hiking, rating, skiing and cycling as well as gardening.
