Emilie is originally from Conifer, CO (just west of Denver in the mountains of the front range). She always had animals growing up. From horses to chickens, dogs and cats, she has always been a huge animal lover. She went to school at Fort Lewis and graduated with a degree in communications. After college she moved to Summit County where she met her husband and spent her time there hiking all over the mountains with their dogs. She and her husband, along with their German Shepherd named Spruce, their cattle dog mix named Willow, and their little fluffy cat named DD, recently moved back to Durango. This is her first job in vet med and she loves seeing and helping all the cute dogs and cats that come in the door!
