Ellie was born in San Antonio, TX. Because of her father's military career, she grew up traveling the world and has lived everywhere from Hawaii to Germany. She has finally found a place to call home and has lived in Durango for almost 11 years. She has her B.A. in Exercise Science from Fort Lewis College. This is her first job in the veterinary field, and she has quickly recognized that working with pets brings her an unmatched level of fulfilment and joy. She is so glad to have found the Riverview Animal Hospital team – it is a great place to be!  Outside of work, Ellie loves to travel to concerts and sporting events as well as spending time off-roading with her fiance and their friends. She also enjoys staying home with their two dogs, spending time with her Dad, and crafting.
