Dr. Deanna grew up on Sanibel Island in Florida but fell in love with the mountains after spending nearly every summer in the Durango area since she was 8 years old. Ever since then, it has been her lifelong dream to become a veterinarian helping the people of CO. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Florida, then obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University. Dr. Deanna has special interests in dentistry, nutrition, pain management, and feline/canine behavior. When she’s not taking care of furry friends, she enjoys riding her horse (Lance), spending time with her cats (Jax and Lillian), hiking, skiing, and finding the best local coffee shops.
