Anela is from Hawai'i and moved to the Durango area in 2023 after receiving her B.S. in Fish and Wildlife Ecology and Management. Having served in positions from Wildlife Technician to Animal Control Officer, she loves and cares for creatures of all sizes and looks forward to learning as much as she can as a Veterinary Assistant. On her days off, she is often found working on a ranch, backpacking with her dog and partner, and goofing off around town!
