Amy has been working for Riverview Animal Hospital since September of 2020.  Amy moved to Durango 21 years ago from Chattanooga, TN.  She is married to her hubby Steve and they have two awesome (but snarky!) teenagers, Maggie and Ben, and two adorable dogs named Nibbler and Tiny.  Amy is a former high school English teacher and has worked at Purgatory Resort in the executive offices. In addition, she has held jobs in sales and customer service.  Outside of work, Amy and her husband are musicians and play at local bars and restaurants in the summer months.  Amy enjoys writing bad poetry, laughing as much as possible, and eating too much ice cream.  Amy's favorite things about working at Riverview are the dogs (but she does like cats, too), our wonderful clients, and the great people with whom she works every day!
