PORCUPINE QUILLS

If your pet has been quilled, bring him in immediately!  Trying to pull the quills out yourself is dangerous and could be harmful to your pet.  If you do not pull it out correctly, the end of the quill can stay embedded in the skin unseen to you, and can cause a painful abscess.  The best thing you can do for yourself and your pet is to bring him in for medical attention as soon as possible.
