Bridget graduated as a veterinary technician from Bel-Rea Institute in 1990. She worked as a surgical technician for many years on the front range of Colorado before joining Riverview Animal Hospital in 2000 as head surgical technician. Bridget enjoys hiking with her dog, biking, skiing, gardening and spending time with her husband.
Barbara's life aspiration came true when she finally started working with animals in the veterinary field in January, 2000 after 20 years as a Paralegal. She joined Riverview in 2005 and says it is her "dream job". She is happiest when she's interacting with her pets - - and yours! She has two cats and two dogs. Both of her dogs are registered therapy dogs. She enjoys doing agility just for fun with both of them too.
Cynthia came to Riverview in the summer of 2005, moving here from Dallas. She worked for several years in an animal hospital in Dallas. She enjoys hiking with her two dogs, skiing, and spending time with her family.
Kassy relocated to the Durango area in 2006 and joined the staff at Riverview. She has been a veterinary technician for 20 years. When not at work, she enjoys being outdoors mountain biking or riding her horse.
Jessica joined the staff of Riverview in April 2008 after graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute. She has lived in Durango all her life, and enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, camping, and horseback riding. She has one dog, a border collie named Bailey, and two cats.
Tara has been with Riverview Animal Hospital since the Spring of 2008. She has lived in Durango since 1995 and enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking and river sports. Tara adopted an Aussie mix puppy, named Tootsi from the Reservation over by Shiprock, NM a couple years ago and recently adopted a kitten Dr. Stacee had rescued.
Tracy has been in the veterinary field for over eight years working as a tech in Alaska, California, Hawaii and New Mexico. She joined the team at Riverview Animal Hospital in June 2009. She enjoys hiking, skiing and traveling with her husband as well as doing agility with her two dogs Wyatt and Atticus. Tuna the cat completes the gang.
Cindy graduated with her degree in veterinary technology in April 2011 and completed the VTNE in August 2011. She enjoyed her work as an RVT in Albuquerque, NM before moving to Durango, CO in June 2014 to be with her wonderful fiancé and join the Riverview team. They have two miniature pinschers and one rescue terrier mix. Cindy looks forward to spending lots of time on the river and in the snow!
Marianne rejoined the Riverview Animal Hospital team in 2014 after a two-year hiatus. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 15 years experience in the field. She was certified in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, and has been Nationally Certified in Canine Massage since 2010. Marianne also has a MBA and has special interest and training in home health care and hospice for animals. She enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with her three horses, three dogs and three cats. She is trying to figure out what else to do with her new found freedom now that her daughter is heading off to college in CA full time!!
Originally from southern Arizona, Lisa moved to Durango in 2004. She fell in love with the mountains and decided to make her home here. She attended school at Fort Lewis College. She was a caregiver for the elderly for seven years prior to joining Riverview Animal Hospital in April 2014. Helping care for pets is her dream and she hopes to continue her education by becoming a certified vet tech. Lisa loves spending time with her son, Amadeus and her two cats, Hobo and Mickey.
Stephanie moved to Durango in 2006 from Colorado Springs and graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2011. Her dream came true when she started working for Riverview Animal Hospital in October 2014 and wants to work towards becoming a certified vet tech. She loves animals and has quite the furry family of her own that consists of her dog, Pepper Pickle, her two cats and two ferrets. She enjoys all the outdoor activities that Durango has to offer such as, snowboarding, hiking, camping and rafting. If she’s not at work, then she is on an adventure in the outdoors.
Beth was raised here in Durango making her a Colorado native. Starting out her work experience as a kennel tech Beth quickly realized she wanted to continue working with animals. She now plans on attending school to become a vet tech. In her free time Beth is spending time with her dog diesel playing outside or cuddling inside!
