Karyn
Karyn began working for Riverview Animal Hospital as the kennel assistant in 2002. After graduating from Fort Lewis College in 2004, she became a full-time member of our front desk team. Karyn returned to Riverview in the Fall of 2009 after moving to Montrose for two years and became the Hospital Manager in early 2011. She has two young children, two dogs, and two cats. Karyn also plays the violin with the Valley Symphony Orchestra in Montrose and Delta.
Bridget, CVT
Bridget graduated as a veterinary technician from Bel-Rea Institute in 1990. She worked as a surgical technician for many years on the front range of Colorado before joining Riverview Animal Hospital in 2000 as head surgical technician. Bridget enjoys hiking with her dog, biking, skiing, gardening and spending time with her husband.

Rita
Rita has been a technician
at Riverview Animal Hospital since 1999, and has been a veterinary technician
for over 16 years. She enjoys skiing and spending time on the river. Her
menagerie includes 4 dogs, 1 cat, 2 snakes, a tarantula and many fish.

Barbara
Barbara's life aspiration came true when she finally started working with animals in the veterinary field in January, 2000 after 20 years as a Paralegal. She joined Riverview in 2005 and says it is her "dream job". She is happiest when she's interacting with her pets - - and yours! She has two cats and two dogs. Both of her dogs are registered therapy dogs. She enjoys doing agility just for fun with both of them too.

Cynthia
Cynthia came to Riverview in the summer of 2005, moving here from Dallas. She worked for several years in an animal hospital in Dallas. She enjoys hiking with her two dogs, skiing, and spending time with her family.
Kassy
Kassy relocated to the Durango area in 2006 and joined the staff at Riverview. She has been a veterinary technician for 20 years. When not at work, she enjoys being outdoors mountain biking or riding her horse.

Jessica, CVT
Jessica joined the staff of Riverview in April 2008 after graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute. She has lived in Durango all her life, and enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, camping, and horseback riding. She has one dog, a border collie named Bailey, and two cats.

Tara
Tara has been with Riverview Animal Hospital since the Spring of 2008. She has lived in Durango since 1995 and enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking and river sports. Tara adopted an Aussie mix puppy, named Tootsi from the Reservation over by Shiprock, NM a couple years ago and recently adopted a kitten Dr. Stacee had rescued.

Tracy
Tracy has been in the veterinary field for over eight years working as a tech in Alaska, California, Hawaii and New Mexico. She joined the team at Riverview Animal Hospital in June 2009. She enjoys hiking, skiing and traveling with her husband as well as doing agility with her two dogs Wyatt and Atticus. Tuna the cat completes the gang.

Becky, CVT
Becky has been working as a technician since 2001. She recently relocated to Durango from her home town in Northern California, and joined the team at Riverview. When she isn't at work she enjoys hiking with her 2 dogs Tuff and Brisco, camping, snowboarding, and horse back riding. She also has 4 cats, Pugsley, Thursday, Mendo, and Bruce who help keep order in the house while she is at work.

Brittney, CVT
Brittney has been working in the Veterinary field since 2002. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2006, and joined Riverview Animal Hospital in the Winter of 2011. Brittney was born and raised in Durango and is so glad to be back home again. Brittney enjoys camping, fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, volleyball and being with friends and family. She has two cats; a calico named Clea and a tuxedo named Myson.

Kelly
Shortly after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Spanish, Kelly moved to Durango and joined Riverview in the Spring of 2012. She eventually plans on attending Fort Lewis in preparation for vet school. She is thrilled to be a part of the Riverview team and to be working with animals on a daily basis. In her free time, Kelly enjoys running, skiing, gardening, and hiking with her two dogs, Addie and Mardi Gras.

Serena
Serena began working for Riverview Animal Hospital as a kennel tech in the summer of 2011. She currently works part time while attending school at Fort Lewis College. After graduating with a General Biology degree in 2014, she plans on going to vet school to continue working with animals. She also really enjoys playing soccer.
